I didn't really need the extra buttons on the mouse, I just needed a good scroll wheel, a scroll wheel that tilted left and right, a good solid feel in my hand, and smooth wireless capability. Pros: Was a little more expensive than what I had hoped to pay for a new mouse, but it was definitely worth it! Its great that its rechargeable, and can work while its charging, and seamlessly change to wireless mode without having to stop the game and vice versa. The mouse is far from perfect, as my "con" comments show, but some of uprated super negative reviews of this mouse and the down rating of positive reviews seems suspect to me based on my experience with the product. When it died, I decided to try some alternatives, and they were all VASTLY inferior in handling, responsiveness and features. Overall Review: I had an V1 G700, and unlike many here, I really had no major issues with it and it lasted me ~2.5 years. The mouse occasionally just completely forgets all it's settings (with profile stored on the mouse) and has to be reprogrammed (this has happened to me twice in the month I've owned it) Single battery means very short battery life. Cord is thick and stiff, really only suitable for charging and not actual use except in the most dire of emergencies.

Can (in theory) be used either wired or wireless.Ĭons: Suffers from many of the same problems of the previous generation G700.

Great resolution range and excellent tracking on my wood veneer desktop without a mouse pad.
